Naruto is a Japanese Manga and TV Anime show which tells the story of Naruto Uzumaki, a young ninja boy who lives in a village named Konohagakure.
Naruto series are based on a short story of Masashi Kishimoto, which was published in the August 1997 issue of Akamaru Jump, the seasonal edition of Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine.
Naruto Manga series were first published in 1997, and then adapted into Naruto Anime version in 2002. The first Naruto anime series lasted 220 episodes. The second series, also known as Naruto: Shippuden is still airing. The total number of Naruto episodes (including Naruto and Naruto: Shippuden) are around 430 so far.
